First, you could make them feel like a vital member of your team. Reiterate to them the importance of their contributions to the overall success and productivity of the business. The more understanding an employee has of their role more motivated and satisfied they are in their work. Another tactic is to encourage suggestions and creativity by allowing insight on procedures, outdated equipment, etc.. Will give the employee's satisfaction and their contribution and the fact that their opinion does matter. Opening up communication may allow workers to think more creatively and come up with solutions or even new production methods. Another tactic involves money, benefits and room for advancement, things such as health care, bonuses, promotions and other incentives to work for your organization are all great ways to keep your best employees.
