Audio translation: (may not be 100% accurate)

Now that you've submitted your application, let's discuss the interview process. One of the biggest parts of landing a new job is, no matter if it's temporary or temp to hire or direct hire, it's the interview process.

Let's go over a few key points to a successful interview. Do you have a scheduled interview time? If so, you want to arrive 15 to 20 minutes early.

Never arrived late. This shows a recruiter that you're serious about your intentions on gaining employment. Turn your phone off, put it away. Silence and whatever you need to do.

But do not accept phone calls, accept text or text. During your interview. You wanna pay close attention to your recruiter or to your interviewer and make good eye contact.

Bring an updated resume with you to leave with the recruiter. Make sure all relevant work history is recorded and the correct start and end dates as well as your skills.

You want to make sure that you are ready to answer questions regarding your work history and your skills and any past relevant experience. Connect your past work experience to the present position that you're interviewing for. All job responsibilities that you excelled in at your past jobs or past experiences should be discussed and related to the position that you're interviewing for whenever possible.

Be truthful when you're discussing your previous employment skills, as well as any background issues. Answer truthfully. Reference checks and background checks will be completed and honesty is the best policy.

Make sure that you understand the position you are applying for. Ask questions. You want to make sure you're able to perform the job functions.

And be honest. If your abilities to perform the job are not there, it's okay to say no. Say that it's not for you, but you would be open for other opportunities.

Make sure you take notes if needed. This way, if you need to come back to it or after you leave, you have it written down and you know what you're looking for. Most of all. Smile. Show that you're interested and you're ready to work.

We'll see you soon.
